A career within Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services, will provide you with the opportunity to be responsible for complex financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational events. You’ll tackle client’s needs with a solution oriented approach that creatively addresses complex financial reporting problems for high profile transactions and you’ll have significant interaction with senior company management teams, bankers, lawyers and other advisers.

PwC’s Financial Services (“FS”) team within the Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (“CMAAS”) business unit is growing rapidly through the  services being provided to banks and insurers in risk, regulatory and technical accounting. This growth creates interesting functions for accountants and risk professionals. 
We are looking for graduates with various backgrounds (finance, accounting, quantitative) to join our FS CMAAS practice. As a member of the FS team within CMAAS you will have the opportunity to work on various assignments for banks and insurance companies: advising clients on complex technical accounting (IFRS 9, IFRS 17) and regulatory issues (Basel III/IV, CRR/CRD), assist with model development and validation, contribute to building internal tools and digitalisation of our services. 

Who are you?
You are at the end phase of your studies, preferably in your master’s program. You like to solve complex puzzles and to make impact with your technical skills. 

  • You have finished (or are about to) your Master’s degree in accountancy/ finance/ mathematics/  econometrics, or a related study program with outstanding results;
  • You have been involved in extra curriculum activities; 
  • You are keen to continuously deepen your knowledge in technical accounting / banking regulation/ risk management/ credit risk modelling and stay abreast of the latest developments in these spheres;
  • You work well under pressure and are committed to meet deadlines; 
  • You are a team player and stimulate a pleasant atmosphere at work; and
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both in speech and writing.

You will be working in a young and dynamic team with a great passion for regulatory (particularly banking capital and liquidity regulation), credit risk modelling or IFRS accounting topics. Your contribution will enable us to solve important and complex problems for our clients and deliver practical advice and insights to our clients.
