PwC’s Deals and Capital Raising (“D&CR”) team within the Broader Assurance Services (“BAS”) business unit advises clients on complex accounting and financial reporting issues relating to IPOs, deals and other periods of transformation. We are expanding our diverse team and are looking for experienced accounting professionals. ?
What will you be doing
As a Senior Associate, you will work in a team of problem solvers who have extensive experience in advisory, accounting, deals and/or capital markets helping our clients solve complex problems from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include:
- You proactively work on projects around technical accounting and/or capital markets, reporting to Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, Partners and other professionals;
- You will demonstrate an understanding (demonstrable experience or willingness to learn) of how to identify and meet client needs. This includes building and maintaining client relationships, supporting the engagement manager in all aspects of engagement economics and engagement administration, and preparing/assisting with the preparation of complex written materials and oral advice;
- Advising clients or audit teams on capital markets transactions, including IPOs, SPACs, divestitures/spin-offs, business combinations, private placements and debt issuances, based on an understanding of the capital markets and related registration processes; and
- Researching, analysing and communicating the impact of accounting policies and reporting requirements on complex deals and transactions such as leases, consolidations, GAAP conversions, revenue recognition and/or business combinations.
As a senior associate, you will be involved in complex projects in the field of accounting and financial reporting. You have at least two years of working experience in the following areas:
