Who are you?

You have completed a finance-related MSc, zero to three years working experience and are ready for a challenging position as a starter within a leading professional services firm. You want to learn, share, expand your network and get the best out of yourself and your colleagues.

You have completed a MSc in Finance, (Business) Economics, Accounting & Control, Business Studies, Business Administration or comparable finance-related studies and are interested in the commercial sector.

You aim to enlarge your finance-related experience and network.

You are analytical, commercial, communicative and social.

You are an ambitious team player who likes to deliver quality.

You are enthusiastic about improving efficiency of the financial function and aligning it to the client’s strategy, including its role in ESG/sustainability.

You are interested in digital developments within the finance domain such as data analytics, RPA, blockchain, AI, machine learning and/or have experience with financial software packages.

You are curious about digital transformation and developments within the Finance domain and are driven to make a difference together with your team members;

You speak and write English fluently. Additionally, speaking and writing Dutch is preferred.

What does your work look like?
Leveraging your own study background, social skills and ambitions, you are aiming to start your career doing different projects at leading international companies. You mainly work with our clients to develop practical solutions for complex problems that occur within the finance domain in the commercial sector.
Within the team, we support the CFO on a wide variety of topics ranging from transactional finance to the creation of the right insights to steer the business. Projects you will work on are aimed at transforming the financial function towards a true value-adding part of the business. While every day is different, here are some examples of what you can expect in your day-to-day job:

Meeting the client to discuss their current way of working in their Lead to Cash process and how it can be improved;

Facilitating a workshop in which you identify management reporting requirements together with the client;

Supporting Finance departments in taking their role in ESG/Sustainability insights, reporting and performance management;

Attending a training on understanding financial modules in leading technological solutions such as SAP, Workday and Oracle;

Preparing the agenda and materials for an important upcoming session on Finance of the Future;

Helping a colleague on a ‘Finance as a business partner’ proposal that needs to be sent to the client;

Presenting a project that you are currently working on to your other Finance colleagues and ask for their input and ideas;

Have a (digital) cup of coffee with a colleague to provide feedback to each other;

Attending a round table in which latest developments in the Finance domain are discussed.
