In a nutshell
As Enterprise Risk Manager you facilitate the implementation of the Knab ERM framework. You'll be responsible for helping the Chief Risk Officer and his senior Risk team in identifying, monitoring, managing and reporting all risks. You'll be an important sparring partner with senior managers of both first and second line. We are looking for someone that has a learning mentality, driven to explore and lead in the field of risk management at an innovative bank. And with a good fit in the team. The Team
As Enterprise Risk Manager you are part of the Risk Management and Compliance department of Knab and you'll directly report to the CRO and member of the Management Board of Knab, Ebbe Negenman.

Your Profile

There is no set route to become a great Enterprise Risk Manager at Knab. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind;

Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics;
Fluency in English and Dutch (both written and oral);
An expert with at least 10 years' experience of which several years in risk management;
A strong understanding of full scope of risk management practices and techniques including experience in the development and implementation of risk policies and risk tooling.

The ideal candidate will be focused on excellence and delivery, resilient and able to work with many and varied deliverables. Furthermore you have very strong communication skills with ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical stakeholders. You also have proven influencing and relationship management skills and you are able to challenge conventional practices and pursue continuous improvement.
