PwC’s Technical Accounting (“TA”) team within the Broader Assurance Services (“BAS”) business unit advises clients on complex accounting issues relating to the specific transactions or transformational events. Currently we are expanding our diverse team and are looking for experienced accounting professionals. ?
What you will be doing
You will participate as a team leader alongside senior TA professionals on complex accounting matters and help clients solve complex accounting issues by interpreting and applying theory and where relevant creating and implementing practical solutions. You work closely with colleagues with other specializations such as Deals or Tax specialists. You have at least six years of working experience in the following areas:
- Advising multinational, publicly-traded companies or private equity firms on a broad range of technical accounting topics;
- You have a strong interest in technical accounting and should expect to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with like-minded individuals;
- Demonstrating extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader managing teams;
- Applying IFRS, Dutch GAAP and related accounting concepts and rules including leasing; consolidations; GAAP conversions; fair value assessments; revenue recognition; financial instruments accounting and/or business combination accounting to solving client issues;
- You have a Dutch RA qualification or foreign equivalent;
- You are fluent in English (both written and spoken), knowledge of Dutch is preferred; and
- Experience with shared service centers and capabilities in Alteryx, UIPath, and data visualization tools such as PowerBi is considered a plus but is not required.
