As the Operations Specialist you support the teammembers of the Experience Center with the establishment of this young innovative department with various tasks within the field of Operations, both content and organization.

Wie ben je?

  • You bring diverse skills and knowledge while being versatile. Ideally, you have qualified Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, economics or similar professional experience. What is even more important is your motivation that you bring to the Experience Center;
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices;
  • Analytical way of thinking/ “looking behind the numbers”;
  • Communication skills with all levels of the organization, self-initiative as well as qualities of a team player;
  • Motivator to the team to create transparency and aggregator who consolidates information and shares these with the respective team members;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and passionate about facts and figures;
  • Persuasive with details and facts;
  • Working autonomously and independently without losing focus of the client and the outcome;
  • Personal responsibility, self-starter mentality, ability to work under pressure, team spirit, senior appearance, flexibility, analytical, hands-on mentality, friendly/self-confident appearance and tailored communication;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written/ spoken).

Hoe ziet je werk eruit?
As the Operations Specialist you support the teammembers of the Experience Center with the establishment of this young innovative department with various tasks within the field of Operations, both content and organization. You align the team on tools, processes, the purpose of applying all these and motivating team members to communicate statuses, deliver information, and report on information needs/requirements from their perspective. For planning, controlling and reporting of fiscal figures as well as staffing data/ staff utilization you are the go-to-person. You consolidate the information requirements (e.g. use of tools, planning approaches), examine financial data/ statements and use them to identify areas for increasing financial performance. Together with other Operations colleagues in other ECs you develop and introduce cross-border processes in order to perform recurring challenges (e.g. monthly reports) more efficient in the future. You prepare reports and decision papers for the Director and other key stakeholders (e.g. EC Steering Committee, weekly/monthly utilization reports). You are the main contact for issues related to local billing, controlling, and local support functions (e.g. finance/ controlling department).
