In your role as Project Management Officer you work together with our Finance departments by executing Finance (Transformation) initiatives.
This job offers you a salary between € 4.204 and € 6.006. This is based on a 40-hour work week, excluding a 13th month and holiday allowance.
Your impact as Project Management Officer (PMO) Finance Transformations at NN
As Project Management Officer you will directly support and work together with our Project- and Program Managers in multi-disciplinary change initiatives in areas such as Finance Transformations, Mergers & Acquisitions, Target Operating Model design and Operational Efficiency. You will take the lead in ensuring effective and efficient change execution and will act as the trusted go-to person in terms of project management support and central project oversight.
Your responsibilities
You will take responsibility to support the end-to-end delivery of our change initiatives, from initiation (through quick scans/ assessments on core finance processes), to project delivery (milestone planning; status reporting; monitoring of key risks, issues and dependencies; insight in project financials and business cases), besides picking up your own (sub-)projects within these larger initiatives.
Other responsibilities are:
- Act as a source of best practice guidance on project management processes
- Produce management information including scenario analysis, impact analysis and documents that are ‘for decision’ and organize impactful Steering Committees
- Work within a senior stakeholder environment and ensure timely execution and completion of deliverables
- Liaise with project team members and provide suggestions or solutions to unforeseen issues when needed
- Collect, summarize and monitor the overall budget and business case and create project plans and project charters
Who you are
We are looking for someone with a few years’ experience in supporting project execution and delivering PMO tasks, preferable at a consulting firm or in the insurance industry, and with experience in the field of Finance. You have a proactive attitude, you are a self-starter and you have analytical and problem solving skills.
Next to the above you:
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, are open minded and sensitive to your environment
- Are convincing, a critical thinker and able to flex communication with the audience in mind
- Have a high learning agility, meaning you can easily adapt and absorb new information in a changing environment
- Have experience with applying lean (six sigma) tools and methods, and execute continuous improvement projects. A LSS Black Belt certification is considered an advantage
- Are a strong communicator, fluent in both Dutch and English
- Have a relevant University Degree; preferably a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business & IT or similar
