Senior Associate/ Manager Mobility Public Sector - PwC

Locatie: Amsterdam

As a Manager, you will be a driving force in our mobility projects. You will bolster our teams and coach our talents. You will use your knowledge, insights, creativity and leadership to inspire people and to work with our clients.

How will people move from A to B in the near future? And how will the Netherlands ensure that its roads are not permanently jammed with traffic? New/additional infrastructure is always needed, but will not be enough to absorb the growth in mobility, certainly in a society that cherishes mobility as a form of well-being but also understands that it makes its climate objectives more difficult to achieve. We will need to work on smarter and more sustainable solutions. Advances in technology will contribute to new forms of transport such as self-driving cars or hyper-loops, but also to a better match between supply and demand through platforms that share and convert data into mobility services. Who is going to take the lead in these developments? How will the public and private sectors work together to achieve these goals? And who will pay for it?

Have you worked with these kinds of mobility issues? And do you like helping clients navigate their way through a multidisciplinary environment and prepare for a new future? Then you’re just the person we’re looking for.

What you will do
Our team helps the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure, hauliers, infrastructure providers and new market operators to deal with the current mobility challenges. How does the government preserve a level playing field, see that the existing infrastructure is used to optimal effect, clear space for innovations (e.g. the MaaS model or autonomous vehicles) but also guarantee safety? What do these changes mean for existing parties? How can they best prepare for the future?

As a Manager, you will be a driving force in our mobility projects. You will bolster our teams and coach our talents. You will use your knowledge, insights, creativity and leadership to inspire people and to work with our clients. You will be part of multidisciplinary and, in many cases, international teams, with experts in such areas as strategy, technology, risk management, change management and regulatory matters.
You will make your home with our team, a motivated group of people who aspire to grow. You will help us to build a team of digitally savvy consultants who know everything about trends and developments in the mobility sector.
