As Transaction Processing Specialist, you are responsible for entering new transactions and ensuring correct application of new and lifecycle events, on time, correctly and accurately for asset related transactions.

The salary for this position is between € 3.673 and € 5.248, depending on your knowledge and experience. This is based on a 36-hour working week, excluding a 13th month and holiday pay.

Your impact as a transaction processing specialist

As a Transaction Processing Specialist you will be part of the Investment Operations value stream within NN Group Finance. Investment Operations is responsible for the accounting book of records (ABOR) data delivery of the insurance assets within NN Group. The department works closely with the Dutch and international NN Insurance entities, Investment Office, Corporate Treasury, Group Risk and Group Finance in order to deliver accurate, consistent, timely and high quality data regarding Assets. In addition, it is responsible for the platform and platform delivery to different business units.

Your responsibilities

  • Entering new transactions and ensuring correct application of new and lifecycle events, on time, correctly and accurately for asset related transactions
  • Matching, confirmation and settlement of high value Cash Deposits transactions, Intercompany Loans, and Backup Facilities
  • Supporting in an advisory role to Corporate Treasury, Accounting, Cash management and ensuring alignment between the investment manager and administrator
  • Booking of trades, repo’s, TRS’s and cash bookings on the accounting platform,  reviewing set up of the counterparty details; settlement of  coupon payment on Loans and Facilities
  • Addressing findings or inconsistencies found in information or responses regarding breaks in reconciliations and ensuring changes and transitions impacting our processes are implemented on time and effectively

The Transaction Processing team is part of the Operations team within Investment Operations. The Operations team consists of the departments: Data Management, Transaction Processing and Reconciliations. The Operations department is responsible for the correct, complete and timely execution of positions on the asset platform. The team is dedicated to providing the best service by being client focused, eager to improve processes by seeking efficiencies and actively staying up to date with market changes.

Who you are

You are proactive and capable to independently take charge of your responsibilities and you are a team player who is able to manage stakeholders across business units and departments. Strong analytical skills with the ability to express and communicate views, both written and verbally. Furthermore you have for the position of Transaction Processing Specialist:

  • An academic degree in the field of finance and/or economics
  • 4 years relevant work experience in a similar environment
  • Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension is an advantage
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and preferably IFRS knowledge and experience
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and verbally
